Wonderful position for a great weekend away in Sydney. Positive: Location was terrific! The house was very comfortable with good amenities, including kitchen that was well set up for an extended stay if you are in Sydney for the week. It’s great if you are able to navigate the stairs with ease, being an historic terrace house. Also the outside of property has some stairs as it is situated on the hillside of The Rocks. Close to Wilson’s parking around the corner. Close to all the tourist sites with hotels and cafes within easy walking distance. So easy to walk everywhere, including up town and able to catch light rail at Circular Quay. Negative: If you have mobility issues this is not for you. The patrons from the hotel across the road were very loud on the Friday night, but after closing it all was very quiet. Only the two front bedrooms are affected by this for a short time. Our son and daughter in law did not mind it as it felt like white noise. Saturday night it was very quiet. Suggest ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Pillows need to be plumper. Bathrooms very small but manageable as they are right near the bedrooms. Very minor issue of recommending face washers with towels for the soap wash toiletry items.

Good value in a great location. Positive: The location was amazing. Negative: Small sinks in the bathrooms. Nowhere to unpack clothes in the bedrooms.

Great roomy place, great location for the Rocks and Barangaroo Positive: Great location and nice and roomy for all guests. Directions were easily explained which was extremely helpful. Negative: N/a

Positive: We enjoyed the access to shops, cafes, market and tourist hot spots and Circular Quay. Negative: Our timing of the weekend away corresponded with the ANZAC Day weekend, and so the noise levels at the functions of the 2 very close hotels was dreadful. Very loud music, and hundreds of people lined up out the front of our accommadation waiting to gain access to the party area. People yelling and screaming, the music, then the packup in the early hours of the morning left us sleep deprived and not happy.7

Positive: Great location , very convenient Negative: Lack of aircon, but with the fans on and some airflow we coped . Was extra hot outside though.
