Great location - but needed a deep clean Positive: Great location for exploring Sydney and we loved the historic property. Tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar were provided (albeit the sugar was in a half used bag that someone had clearly used a dirty spoon in). The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. Negative: The facilities were dated (rusty cooker and shower rail, noisy tumble dryer) and the property needed a deep clean (it was surface clean but there was thick dust behind the beds and in the corners/on TV unit and the washing machine needed a cleaner before using). The property itself was quiet but located opposite a noisy pub, albeit it closed promptly at 10pm.

Really loved the location, interior and the ease of access, didn’t love the loud bar across the road at 1am. Positive: Loved the location and the house itself was lovely and homely. Negative: There is a bar across the road that is (obviously) very loud at night. Not the worst if you’re in the back room, but if you’re in the bedroom at the front and you have to wake up early for something - not great.

Good value in great location, enjoyed it. Positive: Great location, comfy beds. Big couches and TV in lounge. Welcome bottle of wine. Be aware front bedroom gets a lot of street noise on weekend nights. Negative: Steep stairs down to kitchen. Rusty shower rail and rusty cooker.

Dissappointing Positive: Location was good. The unit was cold, a little dirty, heaters broken, cockroaches in the downstairs kitchen, TV didn’t work, blood stains on Duvet (maybe from bed bugs), toilet seat slightly broken, dust and rubbish under both beds Negative: See above
