Quaint terrace house, The Rocks

Basic but great location Positive: Location and attractions around, ease of access (there are lifts nearby so don't need to use steps to get to streets below), very comfortable beds with heaters in each room (we stayed in winter). Negative: Some accessories provided were too old (e.g. rusty rubbish bin in bathroom), damp smell in kitchen cupboards. Some neighbors upstairs were noisy and gate next door was very noisy scraping the bottom of the terrace.

Fantastic location, centrally located. Positive: Fantastic location, so central to everything, and loved the period charm. Very comfortable for a family of five.

Location, location, location! Positive: The location was perfect for accessing the things we wanted to do. For those wanting to be in the historical heart of Sydney this is the answer. Circular quay and all the transport options are a short walk. Communication by the owner was excellent. The terrace had most basic needs. The laundry was well equipped but the addition of a toilet would have been good. The third bedroom is off the kitchen with sliding doors. Negative: There was alot to like about the property but a few simple additions would have made it more comfortable e.g. , a bedside shelf or table, bread and cheese knife, cushions on the couch. Although not a major issue for us, it is unusual not to have a dishwasher. The kitchen and living areas are on different floors. The bathroom which is next to the loungeroom has glass in the door so privacy is an issue. It is also very tiny, has no shelf for toothbrush etc and the shower curtain and rubbish bin need replacing. No balcony on this terrace and the front porch was unappealing.

Delightful for a Sydney getaway! Positive: This was such a perfect place for 3 friends to stay and enjoy Sydney and have our own rooms. Close to everything with was awesome! Negative: The bathroom was a little squeezy.
