Quaint terrace house, The Rocks

Positive: Proximity to interesting places. Walking distance to circular quay, harbour bridge and opera house Negative: The 1 toilet and bath. Home environment is for people who do not want to relax as lounge nil comfort.

Positive: Very good location in The Rocks. Pub opposite, in fact there are pubs all over. Found a nearby breakfast place on the first floor in the YHA building, via the Big Dig entrance off Gloucester Street. Walk into the Rocks and across the Barangaroo. Walk to the SE Pylon on the Harbour Bridge. Walk to Circular Quay and the Opera House. Ferries at Circular Quay to Manly and other spots. Trams at Circular Quay to take you to Chinatown, Paddy's Markets etc. Train at Circular Quay goes direct to the airport. Same train will take you to Newtown in the inner west. No need for a car here. Negative: If you're less than able, it is a bit of a climb up the steps from Circular Quay.

During our stay was very good lol Positive: Very good, easy to walk down to opera house and easy to go to feels like very close the place that I went so was awesome for us Negative: No I like very much

Basic but great location Positive: Location and attractions around, ease of access (there are lifts nearby so don't need to use steps to get to streets below), very comfortable beds with heaters in each room (we stayed in winter). Negative: Some accessories provided were too old (e.g. rusty rubbish bin in bathroom), damp smell in kitchen cupboards. Some neighbors upstairs were noisy and gate next door was very noisy scraping the bottom of the terrace.
